In 1992 I started re-cutting songs, doing things I thought of as making improvements to them. Over time I honed this ability, and in 2003 I took it digital. Later, I started adding remixes and mashups to my repertoire and even worked occasionally from multitracks, either leaked or ripped from video games.

The earliest edits I attempted were of "One or the Other" by Paula Abdul, "Like a Prayer" by Madonna, and "Macarena" by Los del Rio. I have now lost track of how many edits and remixes I have done (all unofficially) but they also include songs by Billy Idol, Bonnie Tyler, Christina Aguilera, Daft Punk, Dead Or Alive, Dolly Parton, Everything But The Girl, Haddaway, Janet Jackson, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Loreena McKennitt, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Queen, Real McCoy, Rick Astley, and Stacey Q; with many others. Some are simple edits that shorten extended remixes; some are far more complex.

Here are a few sound bites. Keep in mind that not all of these are in fact my remixes; some are just abridgements.

A Public Holiday | Burning Up | Rick Roll | Two Of Hearts

The first is a mashup (A Public Holiday - Jessica Simpson vs. Madonna) and the first one I attempted. The second is an abridgement (Burning Up - Madonna) of an alternate mix which I prefer for its dancier sound. The third is an abridgement (Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley) of a remix I acquired, which I did just to be different. The final is a slightly remixed and more heavily processed edit (Two Of Hearts - Stacey Q). I uploaded 45-second snatches for demonstration purposes only.
